In Shakespeare’s world, journeys end in lovers meeting. In our world, journeys end in clients meeting their new homes! As the last step in our extensive Buyer’s Renovation Guide, it’s only natural to take you through a completed project, from the renderings to the final reveal.

This project took place in Lincoln Towers, an apartment complex on the Upper West Side. Our clients purchased their co-op, a combined unit that had previously been two individual apartments, with the intention of gut renovating the kitchen and bathroom, as well as building closets, adding a laundry area, and completely replacing all the floors.
As with every project we take on, we were heavily involved in the entire apartment renovation process from start to finish, including board approvals, permit procurements, material selections and procurements, design, project management, construction, and the build itself.

Since the unit had already been combined with an adjoining apartment, we already had more space than usual to work with. As a result, not only did we enlarge the existing kitchen, but we were able to use some additional space to create a laundry area, as well – music to the ears of New Yorkers.
The enlarged kitchen also received fully custom two-toned cabinetry featuring the timeless combination of white and navy alongside quartz countertops, a porcelain subway tile backsplash, and the addition of a wine fridge to an immovable column.

The customization continued in the renovated bathroom, with a fully custom vanity built expressly to match the space, including an additional section of counter space as an area dedicated to getting ready for the day. The contemporary spa-like atmosphere was completed by the one-inch hexagon marble floor tiles, with matching walls in porcelain for less maintenance but to maintain the look of marble.
